Default How to diy clunk/thump noise greasing.

I had to suffice to my friend request, who wanted to have this clunk Propeller shaft greased, And also I thought this I could make a document so that this could of use to all members who out of warranty for clunk and cannot claim. There is quick solution to the dreaded thump, which is quite annoying especially you have your family with you and this keep thumping from back.
I have attached a document detailing with snippets of how to do it.
cheers

I had mine fixed under warranty, but thanks for the posting.

I'm sure this will be very helpful for anyone who is out of warranty and wants to get rid of the annoying thump.

Antonio.

nice, thanks for the write-up! just out of curiousity, how often should i need to do this procedure as part of regular maintenance? it seems pretty straight-forward.

I have checked with my collegeau..he say the last time his dealer did and till the stage the thump began was around 2000 miles. So you could keep around 1500-2000. Or The moment from the time you do the greasing and wait till the first Clunk sign you get to feel on your vehicle. I think you could re-do the procedure. Only Ensure the grease type be maintained. There is instant difference once you have the spider joints greased. It is just like you have taken the GX for delivery, Absolutely smooth. ceeyaa
