48096A BUSH, NO.2 (FOR HEIGHT CONTROL VALVE)

just 10-15 dollars. Ensure that you have the solenoid also replaced.I am unable to located the part number , Anyway double check all the part numbers quoted along with the dealer, that way.
Chris you can replace these parts your self, only thing you need a lot of special tools and lot of manhours, save this and get the dealer to do this job, Trust me you will be happy man.
cheers

Good info. Perhaps a MODERATOR could change the title of the thread so that it's more fitting of the subject matter -- could be useful in future searches.

OK, I did some research, and apparently KDSS has to do with the sway bars not the actual shock or suspension height. Here is a cool video on how it works.

http://www.believe.co.nz/videos/kdss

I also found that it was not introduced until 2004 and was an option that year, so I may not have it....I guess I need to look for the active shocks attached to the sway bars to make sure.

service guy called me and said they had one with symptoms like mine. he said the tech found the low pressure reservoir to be faulty. It was hot to the touch or something along those lines.

Well Chris, I would not believe what the dealer has said , coz triggering of these faults can be related to various scenarios, some could be related and and some not. The fault which you have quoted in this post all says that with related to abnormal height conditions and the part which affects these conditions are to replace Stabilizer Bracket Valve Assy ( Cost 38/$-pc).
In your case the reservoir is not faulty, but there is excessive pressure build up and N2 unable to hold the composition of the Gas and the Fluid within, this then leaks ( N2 Gas ). The leaks is the Height Contol Assy O ring not holding off the pressure. Anyway wait for the Dealer to give you the whole history. I am curious to know it.

Nothing yet agood1. Waiting couple more weeks to take it in for 60k service. Hey mann777, what does this low pressure reservoir do anyway. I don't think my symptoms include a difference in height. It seemed to be of the same height as the other go's when I was at the dealer last time. It seems to excessively dip in rear on takeoff. It used to just takeoff on acceleration without the whole hood line coming up and sagging in rear. I will def let you guys know if something is resolved.
