Default ? about battery for my key fob

Hi Guys,

I guess my battery went on my key fob for my GX 470 06 so what I wanted to know is ...Does anyone know what battery it takes and where can I get this? Also is this easy to change?

Thanks so much,
Sami

Radio shack has them.

To change them out, all it takes is a very small phillips head. (I have a set of jeweler's screwdrivers I use for things like this.)

Thanks so much I'm off to see if I can get this. I'm guessing this is the number that I will need also?

I have a set of Jeweler tools so this will be great. Thanks so much.

This may be a strange question but once I change the battery do I need to reprogram the remote?

I know with my Escalade I had too and someone on that site explained to me how to do this because the dealer wanted 50 bucks in order to reprogram the remote.

Nope - you shouldn't have to do anything else after you change the batteries. At least I didn't.
