My warranty will be ending this Aug. but am wondering since we purchased the extended warranty if anyone knew if cracked seats were covered? My wife and I were almost positive that our salesperson at the time stated that if you have kids this would be a great coverage for any mishaps. We called and talked with our usual helper and she says not and unfortunately I misplaced my warranty paper.

IMO the dealer would not cover this unless the cracking can be associated with some kind of defect. Worn/cracking leather would otherwise be considered normal wear-and-tear w/age and or the dealer would claim you are not taking care of your leather properly i.e. cleaning/conditioning. In either case it would not be covered.

Cracking leather is easy enough and inexpensive enough to repair. There are automotive interior restoration companies that can make it look like new again - I've seen the work some of these guys do and it's incredible. I would be more concerned about your seat heaters and or the motors going out.
