Default LOL - the things people steal...

Was in a rougher part of town last week and had a few minutes to spare. Decided to swing into Home Depot and pick up some quick things. Literally, I was in the store for 15min total. On my way in, I peaked at my tow receiver to see if I wanted to be overly ambitious and also grab a can of black spray paint to abate some of the surface rust on the hitch.

Anyhow, came back out to find someone swiped my rubber Lexus tow hitch receiver cover in my absence. Oh well, kinda surprised it lasted this long. I'll bet it's gonna look friggin' sweeeeet on the back of a '92 Tahoe w/ three shades of primer and a nice set of 20" chromies from PepBoys

LOL - just thought I'd share...

Sorry to hear about the theft. I have the OEM hitch on order and it comes with the Lexus tow hitch receiver cover. I've been debating whether to put it on since I could experience the same fate as you (regardless of where I am).

I also am missing my tow hitch cover. I haven't bothered to replace it because it looks like something that people would just take if given a chance. Boo!

Maybe there's a way to booby trap the cover.

People suck. Your dead nuts on the ****box it will be placed on. I cant believe I still have mine, I will use a glue gun on it tomorrow as I dont plan on using my tow. If I change my mind Ill just use a blow dryer to reheat the glue and remove.
