De-badged GX470?
Has anyone De-badged their GX470? Is there holes behind the emblems? When I removed the emblems on my IS350 sadly I discovered holes... Don't want that experience again.

I have a debged GX. There are no holes in the body. Use fishing line a credit card and a little heat. I think it looks wrong to remove rear "L" since there is a depression in the body work plus my son likes the gold. Do it yourself slowly if you don't want them broken. Newport Lexus was a bit hasty.

Cmarshack - very nice. How hard was it to install ur prado tail lights? Did you hook up reverse light on the prado tail lights? If so are you still using the reverse lights from the GX too?

I'm thinking of removing the "V8" badging.
I'm wondering if there's more badge symmetry without it.
Plus, it makes no sense to advertise that it has the standard (and only) engine.

motoguci- Not too hard to install. You have to re-wire one of the lights because for some reason they are not the same for both sides. But that is pretty straigh forward. I am not using the reverse lights on the Prado tails at all. My initial intention was to wire them as reverse lights, but never got around to it.
Johnny Rad-Taking off the "V8" would give it more symmetry and clean it up a bit (but BE WARNED: De-Badging is contagious!!!)
