Good luck. I have the same truck year and color. Just a heads up. Check the build date on the drivers inside door. Its either 11/03 or 4/04. If it's the 11/03 you will need to order parts for an 03 GX470- I know weird but true. I found out the hard way when changing a bulb. Some 04 parts didn't fit. You will love this truck. What kind of aftermarket wheels are on it?

Thx for the tip, the wheels are Black Rhrino Hard Alloy wheels, model Charge. They are 22"s and came on the GX. The tires are Nitto NT420 285/45R22. The jury still out on the wheels. Not sure the wife likes them. They do change the ride from dirving my Dads with stock wheels and tires. I dont see many GXs out there with aftermarket wheels and tires on them, what do you peeps think about mine? Thx

I think your wheels look good. Not found of the matte color but thats my preference. How is the breaking? I read from a previous post of a guy who put 22" on his GX. A person commented on how hard the brakes would have to work to stop the vehicle.

I plan on changing my 06 GX 470 wheels to 20" wheels (This is also my wife SUV). Not sure which ones yet but I think 20" is a good size. Oh, it will be chromed or polished.

Ya the silver matches the vehicle color and the rest is a brushed finish, dont like the super bling look. I dont notice a difference in the breaking compared to my Dads and mine and he has stock wheels and tires. These were on the GX when we bought it, I would have definitely gone with 20"s. Not sure what I am going to do yet but I might be selling these and going stock.

Congrats! I had my GX470 for 3 years and recently traded for a RX 350 (the GX was way too big for us - kids are grown and out of the house.)

I enjoyed my GX and never had a problem besides having to get a new tire after 2 years.

By the way, I traded my GX on Aug. 21 and within 10 days it was sold. They are hot!

Enjoy!

Thx, I need to go back to Park Place Lexus and get a few items that were on the due bill. I need a few clips for the driver side step at the rear and one of the screw in hooks for the rear cargo net. So far we love the GX, I just still need to adjust and play with the bump stops as it seems to hit them pretty easy. Wonder if it needs new shocks?
