Hello,
Re a 2006 GX470 with approx 50k miles.
The vehicle has developed an intermittent fairly loud 'click' that seems to come from overhead toward the rear of the vehicle when the windshield wipers operate on intermittent mode (just before the wipers begin a fresh sweep after a pause) and also more recently occasionally when braking. Any thoughts regarding the cause and elimination?
Thanks.

Thnaks for your suggestions.
The wiper motors are located under the hood and in the rear door. The rear wiper is not turned on when this happens and the 'click' is definitely from behind the driver although the sound may be reflected.
Also this 'click' is occuring (intermittently) just as the brake pedal is first depressed. Wierd, eh?
The roof racks are solid and the sound is coming from inside the vehicle.
I suspect that it is a noisy electrical relay located in the roof - however does anyone know if there actually are any relays located there?
The dealer is taking a look at this next week and I'll post the result for posterity.
