Default Which rotor you bought for non-OEM brake pads ?

Just bought EBC brake pads and been searching around in here, most people say EBC rotor for their EBC or non-oem Brake pads, but which EBC rotor is it ? There are bunch on ebay and the price is all over the place, kinda confuse which one is good / not. how about non-OEM brake pads w/ OEM rotor ? will it work the same ?

thx!

OEM rotors are best unless you are going to install a big break kit. Yes, OEM rotors will work fine with non OEM pads. Do a search, rotors have been talked about quite a bit on here.

Thanks for the reply cssnms! I did search but found mix result from the search, some people happy EBC pads + OEM rotor while some prefer EBC pads + EBC rotors, so I'm just confuse which one to get But thanks again for the reply!

Fyi I put red stuff on my is350 and the pads are great. Low dust. Good cold bite and no high heat fade. I just turned the stock rotors.

This has been debated for as long as I can remember. Personally, All of the rotors for our GX are not that good due to their smaller size. I just bought aftermarket rotors drilled/slotted type for the front for $100 a pair delivered. I thought I needed front rotors after feeling pulsating when stopping. I went and bought the rotors, only to find out that after performing a "break-in" with my factory rotors that they were fine. Try that before buying. You can search brake pad break in and it describes what to do. No pulsating anymore and now i have a spare set of front rotors when needed.

I just put on the plain jane EBC rotors with the green EBC pads. Figured that the drill/slots rotors wasn't going to do much on this vehicle. Seems to fine so far.
