By the way, when the center diff. is locked, 50% of the power is going to the front axle and 50% is going to the rear. It sounds the same as saying 25% to each wheel but it's very different. The 50% is split between the 2 tires of that axle as the corresponding differential sees fit. It can be 25/25, 30/20, or even 50/0.
Hmm... If that was the case, and each wheel still had an independent slip, then why would it be prohibitive to drive it on dry pavement? I learned the difficult way, when I tried to drive in a circle with Dif Locked, the car actually stopped when I turned the steering wheel and all 4 hit the pavement. Good that I was just starting to move and was going about 1/2 mile/hour. In the case if the limited slip was allowing the wheels still turn independently than driving on non-slippery surfaces should be ok? Am totally I lost here?

There is still a difference in the amount of wheel rotations needed to make a turn between wheels on the same axle AS WELL AS wheels on opposite axles.

A vehicle with fully locked differentials (one that transmits an equal 25% to all wheels all the time) would be extremely difficult to turn on most terrains, even loose ones.

Makes sense. But no matter how the GX does it, it does it well! I hope next weekend will bring more SNOW!!! Ha Ha. I think this is a second time in my whole life I am wishing for more snow. 2 Weeks ago was the first time.

Ok, I finaly chopped up the video, and came up with this:

The camera wasn't mounted, therefore the film is shaky.
It looks like it will be more snow this weekend and I will be going this Saturday again
