22" wheels and tires need help and guidance!
ive spent over an hour trying to learn as much as i can. i have purchased 22"moda 226 and am trying to decide the correct tire size. i see alot of you have 305/40/22. It seems that alot of you also have a rubbing issue when turning all the way. I noticed that the upper control arm looks dangerously close to the factory wheels and tires and i don't think i have that much room to play with. Would the ideal size be a 275/40/22. I'm sure a 305 would give me extra protection and maybe even fill up the wheel well a bit better. Let me know what you guys think> much appreciated!

Easy fix here folks.
Go to www.tire.com - Discount tire.
They have a tire calculator on the site. Enter the OE specs. That will give you rotations, OD, etc.
http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...foTireMath.jsp
265-65-17 are the OE size for 2003-2009 models
275/40R-22 XL 108V B is what I come up with.
The OE tires at 65 MPH and the 275/40/22 would give you 65.21 MPH
Ou can play around with the tire/wheel combinations until you find the right mix.
Good luck.

Can anyone give me some driving impressions. Seems like I can only find 305/40/22 used for a good price. 275 and 285 40 are impossible to find. I can deal with rubbing at full turn but not when its hitting the inside fender during dips or bumps in the road
