just installed a HID kit low beam successfully with the relay harness, now when i'm about to install the fog light without harness, i'm confuse how to power up the ballast with this cable ?? it's the RED & BLACK pointy one...



i watched a DIY in youtube, the guy pretty much just insert it into the OEM connector. is that even safe ?? pls help.

I was having the same problem a month ago and haven't worked on it since due to the lack of time, lol.

never mind, that's the H11 cable

the H3 (fog light) is plug n play. i just installed mine, can't be happier !

Did you plug the OEM power plug into the ballast properly? Mine does not even fit at all, lol.

I had this problem and I just cut the factory connector off and spliced them together. Works great.

I was thinking about splicing it as well but I didn't want screw up and end up with another problem, LOL!

It's been almost 2 months so I need to start installing the HID onto my fogs soon!

If you're wondering where the two smaller wires go for the fog lights, they insert into the red/black connection on the inside of the fog light housing door(round screw-in door)
