I guess this question is geared more towards steve from XenonDepot. I saw in an older post that the majority of GX owners have the PHILIPS 6000K ULTINON HIDs. I only saw the Extreme and Volt Digital. How do they compare to each other. I like the 6000k. White with hint of blue. Hate the deep blue cheap ricer HID. My brother in law got some for this car from ebay and they look like crap. I want the factory HID look. I just want the best bang for the buck without sacrificing quality. If i need to spend for a better quality then i will. What would you recommend? Or anyone here recommend. Thank.

Lead Lap
I have the 5000k in my GX and it is definitely bluer than OEM HIDs in our '07 GS. Not overly noticeable but yet you can tell. If you want the best light for all driving conditions, go 4300k or possibly 5000k. 6000k, IMNSHO, is going to be noticeably blue and in certain conditions (dark rainy or snowy nights) depending on where you live (and of course age ), could get a little tricky to see with...
As for kits... go w/ their Xtreme. They're on sale now for about half of what I paid when I bought my original one w/ the CL discount. Steve stands behind his products 1000%. I've been impressed so much that I just ordered a set for my father's new RX which only has halogens. According to the email I got last night though, the 4300k bulbs are out of stock until next week.
Good luck

Hey Guys,
Thanks for your responses.
Just a reminder that we are closed today (Aug 1) for a civic holiday here in canada.
As per your questions:
1) 2OnyxLexus - I personally am a fan of 4300k. A 4300k HID kit will get you the brightest, whitest, and most OEM look and feel. The GX has OEM projectors so a 4300k HID kit will get you a slight bluish tone depending on what angle you view the light from.
2) BurgBoxstr - Thanks so much for the repeat business!! We are going to get more 4300k bulbs in hopefully tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest.
3) satiger - The only modification that you will need to do is drill a hole in your factory dust cover to run the wire that connects between the bulb and ballast. Our kit will come with a grommet so that you can reseal your housing. Other than that, the kit is literally plug+play. I would be more than happy to call you to discuss if you have any more questions.
4) redrocks - Thanks so much for taking the time to post up some pictures!! I love the way the truck looks in white It's funny how the low beams have a slight purplish tone in your last pic!

Yeah, it's "whiter" at night. No blue/purple color. I checked the boxes and it said 4300K. I'm happy with them.
Enjoy your holiday!
