I applied Jax Wax Graphene to the GX Today.
Sorry, no pictures as is in the garage staying dry until the Graphene is fully cured.
Looks great, and cant wait to see how it performs.
Also looking at parts that are on sale.
I am thinking on stocking up on some filters and also some wiper blades. (see below) (can someone confirm what wiper blade part numbers comes from the factory for a 2023? )
Since the GX did not come with an Exhaust tip, I'll get that too.

If you still have the factory wiper arms and rubber inserts, you can buy new rubber inserts for less money.
Rear: 85214-0E050
Front right: 85214-48031
Front left: 85214-0E020
Reuse the stainless steel strips from the old ones - just press them into the grooves on the sides and slip them under the "claws" on the arms.

Oh - this is the 1st gen GX470 forum. For a 2023 you want the 2nd gen GX460 forum:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gx-...2010-2023-219/
Those are the correct part numbers for a 2023.

Denso radiator
Did the timing belt, tensioner, idler pulley, water pump, crank seal, Denso iridium sparkys and replaced the radiator. Runs super quiet and no more coolant leaks!

New lights all around on the front. Stayed with incandescents - no LED swap.
I had the left DRL/Turn start hyperflashing on me, but then stopped and went back to normal. I figured it was time.
I took the bumper cover off and the headlights out, because that way it's easier to get to the marker bulbs.
Note to anyone else wanting to do this - be SURE you pull the headlight STRAIGHT OUT. If you lift up you will break the clip.

I have to do both front seats. Quick question. I've seen couple of videos and posts while I was researching what to do to replace the covers and they conflicted each other on unplugging the battery. When you take the seats out, is it necesary to unplug the battery? I ask this because I can see the possible need to drive it while I'm working on say the passenger seat. Assuming it may throw a code or even worse, blow the airbag or something while unplugged and driving around. Just curious if it's necessary to take the battery offline to unplug the front seats. Great job on the seats. They look good.

The seats contain the side air-bags and turning the key without them being there will set a code.
Not sure about in the GX470 but in other cars I've owned you need a dealer-level code reader to reset it.
I would not drive it without the seats connected.

Thanks for the heads up. Will definitely avoid running without plugged in. Next question is I guess it's ok to just unplug them to remove and do the repair as long as the key doesn't get turned back on I would assume. No need to kill the battery unless just being super cautious for the airbags?
