*The manual is in the link too in case you bought it used and or it didn't come with one*
I have an older VaisTech SL2i-up that works for my iPhone 4S but doesn't work w/ my 5S. I just keep my older 4S connected and stuffed it behind the drivers side center console trim.

Thanks. I bought it new so it came with a manual. I think I'm going to try the Vias Tech MMI if I can't get the USA Spec working.
got my first failed part last friday, changing the alternator was a pain, I feel like I was working on a MR2, alternator was off the mount biggest problem is taking it out of the car took me 2hrs just to take it out of the engine bay wow. all in all almost 5hrs lol
Got a magnaflow muffler cut/welded in place of stock, resonator delete and she sounds damn good around town, not too loud at idle, but nice and throaty at open throttle. Getting some Method race wheels mounted/balance today at lunch.
I'm going to Siesta Key for a week this Friday. I flew my sister in law and her son down from Virginia to go with us. 3 adults and 3 kids so no way everything was fitting in the GX. I ended up buying a Rola hitch cargo carrier (59501) and their light kit (20174). Putting the carrier together and getting the wires mounted nice and neat was very easy, took me about 20mins total.
The gross tongue weight on the stock frame hitch is 975lbs.; the Rola holds up to 600lbs. so no problems there. Hurry up FRIDAY!!!!
We took our GX on our first significant road trip since purchasing it back in December. I took my family of five from Illinois to Florida.
I've never driven a new GX, but ours with 110k miles drives like a dream. We traded in our 2011 Sienna LE for a 2006 GX in Black Onyx back in December. We made the same trip in our Sienna the precious two years. The Sienna is inferior in every way except passenger/cargo volume. The GX, outfitted with our Thule Atlantis 1600 topper, fit our family and our stuff perfectly. We cruised along at 78 mph and averaged 17.8 mpg by my calculations (truck recorded 18.1).
Also, I kept track of every GX470 I saw along the way and tallied the colors. I saw 19 GXs and white was far and away the most popular color:
12 white
3 silver
2 black
1 blue mica
1 nautical blue
In my mind, everyone that drives a GX is part of this community, so I wave. Now, I'm not waiving like a crazy person, I just give a simple raise of the hand. I only managed to get one other GX owner to wave. So on my drive home, I'll be the guy in the black GX with Illinois plates waving.
I learned that the dashboard altimeter maxes out at 13,000'
We made the drive from Boise, ID to Ouray, CO and then up and over Imogene Pass, down into Telluride. All the jeepers were confused seeing a Lexus up there. And even more confused when I said we got lost looking for Starbucks.
