Thanks,I am familiar with them.

Today,I changed my spark plugs and also the original gas cap.

Oem plugs were under $55 and the oem cap was $23.

Does anyone know if this is possible...I have an 03' GX and i'd like to make a couple first time modifications:

1.)add a rear back-up camera that would be operable via the nav when shifting in reverse and ,

2.) I'd like to be able to connect my iPhone so I can listen to internet radio through the speakers.

Can both of these be done? and for what price.

Thanks,

dw

Your best bet would be to go with an aftermarket set up, I can think of Pioneer right of the top that can do all of that.

If your truck does not have nav, then just swap to an aftermarket double DIN head unit with those features, easy peezy.

Thanks, but i forgot to mention that I already have the nav and ML in the truck. I did research the camera a little and was finding that the Pioneer harnesses and camera would be around $300-400 but there was no mention of the iphone attachment as being part of the unit. I wish I was confident enough to install myself but I think I will take it to a reputable electronics installer.

Today,I added a 20 oz. bottle of Techron Concentrate Plus. This is added every oil change or 5000 miles in lieu of two other fuel additives added every time we fuel up.

What year is it? 07 and newer have the option of adding an iPod interface wire, you can buy it from Lexus for $220, then just use the Lightning USB adapter to plugin your iPhone 5. I'm pretty sure you can also add a backup camera since it came out with that option.

If you have older GX, you can still get a pioneer system to do all that. If you check in their website, and look at any particular model, you can see the accessories you can add to it. For a plug and play installation, and no more messing with the OEM wiring, speakers and amps, I strongly recommend spending an extra $300 on a Beatsonic wiring interface. Good luck!

Gave the GX some love today.

Now at 78k.

Changed spark plugs (Denso Iridium).
Changed Oil and filter. OE filter and Mobile 1 (5-30).
Changed Air Filter (OE).
Added Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner.
Washed and vacuumed.
Detailed engine compartment.

Only issue lately, cracked windshield coming home from ski trip. Bummer. More money!

T-stat
Serpentine belt
Radiator hoses

Fresh oil, filter, add Fumoto valve
All 3 diff fluids
Cleaned the 1/4" of oil crud off the skid plates
