Bought some 2006 Limited 4Runner wheels for my wife's GX. They have almost new Michelin AT2 tires on them. Ordered Spidertrax 1.25" spacers which will be here Monday.
Took the cover off of it and walked by it in the garage a few times. I have to drive it in to work tomorrow to change the oil and see if my left front axle is salvageable after trashing it a few weeks ago. Going to reboot and regrease the CV joint and hope it stops clanking. Going to do some off roading near Seguaro Lake on Sunday.
Late last year I used Poor Boys Black Hole polisher before waxing and after clay and wash. I really liked it as it covered many of the imperfections from sins of the past.
I didn't use that this time. I washed with Meguirs conditioner then clayed with Meguirs clay and then polished with Meguirs as well.
I did all the clay and polish work in the garage out of the sun only after the exterior felt cool to the touch.
Not necessarily a plug for them but after reading a lot on here and other places many seemed to recommend.
I also used a random orbital buffer to minimize swirl marks.
And then it rained the next day.
Go figure
Invest in some serious quality micro polish like Menzerna, and get the appropriate cutting/buffing pads for your orbital. I use a porter cable with an orange polish pad and a white wax pad.
Edit; poor boys makes a great product. I've REALLY like how Adams buttery wax makes my truck shine, but it doesn't last long at all. The pic I posted is after roughly 16-20hrs of polishing and then a coat of Meguires NXT wax.
I have used 105/205 Meguairs in the past with the coating of jet seal from chemical guys did the same on my GSFsports used the Carpro Ceremic coating and it shines like the day it roled out of the floor.

Sweet looks Gud mind sharing what specs of tires your using with 18"s. I see u have a GS too. I also have a GS and IS aswell.
Tires are 265/60 18 Michelin AT2s. The GS is a 99 GS400 with 284,000 miles on it. Still runs like new. The 4.0 is a great engine. The GX is my wife's. Below is my ride.
I installed my RCI skid plates today (engine, trans, transfer case). I had installed the fuel tank skid plate last Saturday (20 Aug 2016). I drove up to Ft. Collins to see Josh about the cross member for the transfer case skid plate. Thought I had the wrong part. Part was correct, my bad. Josh and Brian at RCI installed it for me. Great bunch of guys!
Tomorrow the GX goes over to Slee Off Road for my Old Man Emu suspension install, 90K service including the timing belt replacement and I'm going to have them install the Metal Tech sliders. BTW, RCI makes sliders for our GX's (mine is an '05) and had I known that at the time I ordered the Metal Techs, I would have gone with the RCI's. Very similar appearance but it seems the RCI's are quite a bit easier to install.
I'll keep you posted.

Post pictures. I would love to compare suspensions some day.
