It is cheaper (in labor) to replace the axle than the boot.
That's what I do. I do both at the same time when one develops an issue that can be fixed, I then save the old ones for a rebuild later so I have a set to swap whenever needed. My OEM set had driver side ripped boot and was leaking oil. I replaced them both with Cardone brand from RA. The OEM CV rollers were still in good condition.
Yeah, my sidewall tore open on a tree stump just before the breakover at the top of a hill. The trails to the right and behind were about 45°. Best we could do with where we were. The truck was leaning about 30° to the right and angled towards the front so there was very little weight on that corner. The pictures never do the trails justice but you're right and it was a definitely sketchy

The range was on street tires but he got me out enough that there wasn't water coming in before he got stuck. The 200 and a kinetic strap got me out with 2 big tugs. Nothing broken and my mats are already dry. Just a bent front skid plate (from another trail) and a great weekend

Have you done injector rebuild prior? You had it all out and wondering why you did not do injector rebuild, or install new ones.
@post 1158 - its "capable", just not that capable. Any issues after getting water up over the crank? Alternator survived?

I am not sure which filter box you are referring to... Could you tell me which timeframe in the video the part you are asking about is visible the best? Are you asking about the air filter box under the plastic intake? It filters air from the intake in the passenger side fender as it enters the intake intake tubing through the throttle body into the intake manifold.
If you are asking about the filter box on top of the SAIS pump, it houses the foam filter that filters air sucked in and then passed into the SAIS system.
As for the injectors, I did not rebuild them (why would I?). I'm at 120k miles, the fuel system is annually treated with seafoam and functions perfectly. I am not planing to rebuild any components unless it is recommended as a preventative maintenance or fails.

I am asking about the filter that is underneath the intake manifold, and what was the reason why you replaced the intake manifold gaskets? My GX has 242kmi on it.
I took out the nav unit with no issues. No instructions came with the android. So once I had the nav out I just matched the plugs. There are some left over GX plugs that have no home. Android powered up with no issues. Climate controls work. The temp setting on the screen won’t change if you tap it but the buttons on the bezel change it fine. Ac, heat and fan work. Radio: I get no reception. The Gx has 2 antenna wires. A normal size one and a smaller one. In the link above the “solution” is to buy a Y and an adapter so the small one fits into the Y. I’ll have to do that eventually. I just wish I knew it was a bigger problem than they said and I would of just bought it ahead of time. Getting the unit in was tricky with all the wires. Had the wife help and got it done. Apple Car play is giving me an issuer. It’s connecting with Bluetooth. I’d rather it just plug right in. I’ve tried plugging in but it never picks it up. Also the usb isn’t charging the phone.
I’m going to purchase the unit with the required antenna adapter and splitter. Hopefully I get much better result, I don’t really need car play, but radio is a must. I hope you get everything sorted out. By the way where did you purchase your unit and what year is your GX. I have an 06. Thanks for sharing your experience with the forum!
