RH Headlamp and Fog lamp confused
I have a 2005 GX470. I noticed the drivers side headlight (lo) was out so I replaced it. Still doesnt work. When I tried to check the fuse that controls that llight, the adjacent fog lamp went out. I checked the fuse that controls both fog lamps and they both went out accordingly. Does anyone out there have any experience with this? Do they share a ground or something? Anyone? Anyone?

Each of functions are controlled by their "Relays". Which are located in the Engine Bay Fuse Box. Start your troubleshooting from there. And the related ECU controls the Headlight relay in the Driver Side Junction box located in the Foot Well area from You need to check for the continuity here. From the relay once removed from the Fuse in the Engine Bay, check the relay continuity between 1&2 ( you should have continuity and points 3&5 should have no contuinity. Any difference to the above condition, replace relay. Let us know how it goes.

OK, so I finally got around to checking this relay. I can see no indicator numbers for the pins. The two matching ones (parallel to each other with a hole in the blade) have continuity while the larger blades (at right angle to each other) have no continuity. This seems to follow your description but I’m confused about one being numbered 5. As I mentioned before when I pull the fuse for the Right LoBeam, the fog lights go on. I also checked for voltage at the fuse and I have > 14V. I think I’m just gonna replace the relay on GP. Any further insights would be welcome.
