Default Smoke Smell

Any advice from anyone on how to remove the smoke smell from a vehicle. Now it has been greatly improved by cleaning the carpets, removing air filter from behind glovebox, and running a fan with a bowl of vinegar to help kill the smell. It seems that I notice it most when the heater is running? Does anyone have any ideas on how to really get this smell removed? Thx

I'm guessing the previous owner hot boxed cigarettes.... Being your in Washington, Now I have an idea why they hot box cigarettes.... rain.?

Did you change you filter with a carbon/charcoal type filter? I've heard these help eliminate smelly smells....

Use Lysol Neutra Air Spray they are really good , have the Glove compartment removed by unhooking by the cable and spray on the Evaporator. And replace using the Carbon charcoal Filters from Sewell. It is really good.
