Remote key quit working again!!!!
It has been the 3rd time!!!
Remote key just quit working.
For the first two time, it healed itself after several days.
Is it because I change the battery of the car?
The battery in the car is new.
btw, the driver-side door lock panel is very hard. Will it be the reason?
Toyota ask me for $120 just for checking it.
I figure should ask u pros first.
Thanks in advanced.

With the information that you posted, I have the following suggestion. When you use your remote from a distance, the litghts in the front or back, BLINK , letting you know from a distance that your remote is working. If no lights are blinking, when you push either lock or unlock, it could be the battery in your key, in your hand?
When you push open twice on your remote, the other doors should unlock. If they don't, could be the remote key battery. Not a bad idea, to lube the lock on the drivers side anyway.

A check would be to check the Transmitter battery within the remote, And next see if the LED lite lights up. Press it three times it shud lite up.When you click. Third if no success Go toward the Driver side Quarter Panel Glass Window after replacing the Key battery,u get replacement from Radio Shack. And Try using the click from the key facing the lower part of Quarter window. It is here within the Window the door Wireless Transmitter Receiver is fixed, You could check if these are faulty, by detaching the panel within and check for volt continuity. Hope this helps
