A deal too good to be true?
I found a 2007 with Nav, Blizzard Pearl and tan interior with 75k miles for 23k. According to carfax the tires (michelin) were done 10k miles ago and the pads and rotars were replaced 20k miles ago. There have been two owners with the first showing as a corporate lease. The kicker is it's 900 miles away and I would have to buy it without driving and have it shipped. It's located at a Mercedes dealership. The carfax shows it was listed for sale 10-28-11 so they've had it a while which makes me nervous but could also explain the lower price. Is this deal too good to be true, or too good to pass up?

Maybe someone on this forum, lives close by to this dealer and could do a driveby for you. At least look it over on the outside? Dings and dents don't show up well in pictures on the web.

Good deal, but not overly so - I picked mine up after the lot had it for a few months and got a great deal. It may be that folks looking to buy a Mercedes don't want a used high mileage Lexus.
If it's near Birmingham AL, I'll go look at it for you.

I guess it was "too good to last". I appreciate all the replies. The vehicle was in Boston. I called the dealer and they said it sold this morning. My search continues. It was a heck of a deal. I'm not suprised it was gone by the time I called.

I called and the deal wasn't finalized yet. Asked them to let me know if it fell through and never heard back.
I did, however, purchase an 04 yesterday with 58k miles and it is sweeet!

I feel like a complete idiot asking this question. I've owned trucks before, but never anything with full time 4wd like this. My question is, there's the 4wd shift **** next to the other one...let's say I get really stuck and need to use that, how do I get it into 4wd or what is that shifter for?
