What is the deal with the rear door? Where is the tailgate? Did lexus hire the izuzu trooper designers. I guess this will protect the sales of the lx. You cant open the door if there is a car parked behind. Also it looks like the door opens to the right blocking the sidewalk. Iguess you can forget a bike rack on the back. If you are parked on a hill --how easy will it be to open and close?? Toobad because it otherwise looks like a sweet truck. Too bad it couldn't open both like a tailgate and door like the old buick roadmasters. Maybe i'm missing something. I'll see it in person this week before passing final judgement. Hopefully it works better that it looks.

Yeah, the door doesn't sit well with me either. I've never understood the lure of anything but a hatch on an SUV. If I remember it had something to do with women not being tall enough to close it when opened?!?!

Maybe the class lifts up independantly?
