must see pics... anyone know if the gx will come with hid's or not?
i just want to know, becuase if it doesnt i want to get my $1000 back for the deposit i put and go get a escalade
no offence or what not but i have been waiting for ever for hid's on the lx or now the gx

I am fairly sure that the GX has projector style HID's... but I'm surprised that HID's alone would make you shift over to the Escalade.... Why oh why.... You can add aftermarket HID's if they don't come with it. I'd much rather be driving a GX470 over an Escalade.

The current generation GS doesn't have projector lights, but it does come with HID. The first generation had projector low-beam headlights, but they did not come with HID's.

sorry that i am an hid fan :P but i think its high time lexus just put em on all there vechicles, i mean... its not that bad, i guess i could go aftermarket, but wheres the fun in that :P .. we have em on our E430, they really light up the road more then the aftermarket ones, also i have seen burnt houseings from retrofit aftermarket hid install's, altho that could be becuase it was an altima, even they come with hid's now

Lexus SC430 uses projector style HID's.... so just swap those in! I love my HID's on the S2000, but I can still live without them. Toyota/Lexus does a good job with their regular lighting projector headlights, like on the LX470. I feel that their light is much stronger than any other normal headlight.

HIDs are avaliable on all Lexus models except the LX. Very few manufacturers offer HIDs on all their vehicles, including Cadillac. In fact, no Cadillac had HIDs until last year or the year before. This year is the first year the Escalade has had them.
