hardwire valentine 1
does anyone have pics on how they did it? i'm trying to figure out how to take down the center visor and perhaps tap the power in from the dome light controls.

Sorry, no pix but...
Using the vampire taps I hard wired mine off cig lighter below tape deck (not the one in the floor console). Ran cord up A pillar on passenger side, tucked underneath headliner and have the unit suction cup mounted just to the right of rain sensor. Remote display is mounted (using velcro on front edge for seamless pull down) on my pull out ash tray. Drilled small hole in back of ashtray unit where cord comes thru. Cord can be curled up and tucked in ashtray when not in use.
Getting to back of the cig plug is pretty easy, search for a post on how to install VAIS Tech unit... you only need the first few steps for removing the ashtray and cig lighter and you'll be all set.

thanks... i ended up running power from the fuse panel. ground was a little tricky but i ended up wrapping a ground wire around the pole in the sunroof.. install looks trick and clean.
