You've got several (just look at the bottom list of the forums - Moderators : encore888, Craig B, mann777, Koz plus over a dozen senior mods that look across the entire community.

Most importantly though (with 170,000 members and <100 volunteer moderators) we reply on members to push the report a post button when there is something that warrants review.

Let's get this thread back on topic please

Gotcha.

I was being facetious - we haven't needed a mod to address anything in a while (as far as I have read). Didn't realize Mann was a mod - thought he was just a GX magician.

There is an ignore feature on CL, use it if you have a constant problem with another member https://www.clublexus.com/forums/pro...?do=ignorelist

I'll suggest the OP search the forum for keywords 'common problem' and 'common issue' and you'll get a lot of threads with similar content, even if their goal is for a new buyer seeking information vs an organized list effort (thanks).
thanx for the change... i just thought a compiled list of posts in one thread would be useful - as long as other members chime in in a constructive way then it will be useful... thanx

VSC OFF, VSC TRAC, Check Eng and Swerve Car indicator on my 2003 GX470. ...annoying and quiet puzzling. Still figuring out how to get it back in order. Its stalled for the last 6 days as of now!!

This may have been covered already, but as an original owner of a 2005 I can share my experiences which have popped up on here with other owners on more than one occassion.

1) Warped rotors - a systemic problem due to brakes being undersized

2) Siezed calpiers - replaced both front calipers

3) Leaking radiator - bottom corner driver side commonly develops a leak - I replaced my radiator with a Koyorad

anyway, i been on this forum for five days now, before that i have never heard of this forum, never owned a lexus, and already i have encountered these common issues that i had to search about on the forum... seems like some seasoned veterans out there are not interested in sharing info here...
+1 for the Door Ajar

I think many don't bother posting the small stuff on here

A few more that I think could be classed as common are:

Front Caliper Failure
Premature Rear Shock Failure

Just my opinion.

08 GX 45K---

1. Alternator whirring noise and Strong electrical smell with Batt light on!!
2. ABS ECM module bad, made Hydralic brake booster run every 5 seconds(killed it), then I lost brakes--Replace Entire Master cylinder with those 2 components attached (cheaper that way)
3. Warped rotors as normal lol

Rotors don't really warp, brake residue on surface causes the shudder.

I second that, Mann has been my go to guy on this forum. Outstanding knowledge of our GX's

1) Clunk sound from driveshaft
2) dashboard cracking
alos the driver front seat leather wear seems to be an issue.

A stock tape deck stereo. WTF! In a 2007 even. It's like Lexus/Toyota has a **** tone of leftover tape decks they were trying to dump on us to rid themselves of em.
