OK, I know I sound like a dummy...I have a 2004 GX470, fully loaded. When I shift into drive from park, all my doors automatically lock. However, when I park and shift back into park, the doors do not unlock...I have to manually press the unlock button. Is this how it is supposed to be? I have ridden in later Lexus's where the doors unlock when you shift to park. Or is there a switch or method to get the doors to unlock when shifting into park?

That manual is more than 2 inches thick, scares some people. I was so excited when I got my GX, I wanted to sleep in my car. Weather was nasty, didn't want to get my car dirty that quickly, so I read the manual.

For the people that have not done this: Regarding searching, I found it is better to go to advanced search (right under regular search). After you type in your topic. Scroll down and make sure you click on the GX470 as the automobile, otherwise you get all of the posts from other cars as well. If you search again, you have to click on your car, again, otherwise you get everyones posts. FYI
