^We like infiniti's but again, the qx is to big, the fx, and the ex to small. The jx coming out might be an option, but we have yet to see one in person. Jeeps, well to be honest, never really been a fan of american cars, they offer a lot for the money, but quality just isn't there.

the 2nd gen qx56 is def a nice truck... a little bit too much of testosterone injection into the design but overall very nice truck... right size i think... but more money than i would've like to spend with it being very recently redesigned so not much used models to pick from... still love my gx470 tho... can't beat it for what it is...

I am bumping this up because i am wondering about rust. Our lx470 the frame looks pretty rusty and the rear hatch is rusty as well. Is there any concerns with structural or certain places that gx470's rust at? There is on at the Cleveland dealer i just drove, is real clean and low mileage, but curious as to weather rust is a major concern

I just bought my GX about 2 weeks ago. Its an '05, 1 owner and the lady had EVERY service / maintenance done at our local Lexus dealer, I have over 5 pages of stuff. She religiously took it in every 5K miles for an oil change and tire rotation. That was a huge plus for me when I bought mine.

Good luck!

This site helped me verify service history that im being told on a possible purchase... Thank u

I had this concern initially with my '04, but it seems to only be surface rust. This information came from my pre-purchase inspection and reading various opinions on the Internet. I wouldn't be too concerned structurally, but definitely have it looked at prior to purchase. Never heard of rust anywhere else on the GX.

Alright, the LX it seems to be surface to on the frame, but people said rust kills these things. Also the rear hatch on lx's rust like a ****, but they have been around longer than gx's. Thank you for your help.
