DIY - Heated Seats Bulb Replacement

Thanks...
I replaced the bulb in the left hand switch two weeks ago. Yes, the switch pulls out with your fingers, but in my vehicle the switch did not pull all the way out. I had to push the clip (as shown in the OP's photos with the red arrows) to release the switch from the wiring harness. When you push the clip, the switch will release and the harness will drop down into the abyss. After switching out the bulb, you need to fish out the harness using a bent paper clip or something along those lines.

This thread is awesome. I am totally NOT handy at all, and I was able to replace the bulb with no issues at all. Just wanted to say thank you for the thread and the awesome pics and instructions. They are greatly appreciated.

Thank you
Thank you for this great write up!
Would not have known where to start without it. I would have started with trim removal...
I have a couple of hints that made it easier for me to complete.
1) The wires were too tight to pull out the whole switch, until I also pulled up the second heater and diff lock switches. The wires must be tied together underneath somehow.
2) Instead of pulling the switch out of the connector, I just pried the top cover off with the switch connected. It is easy to pop the bulb in without full removal of the switch.
Used Part number 90010-01061 from Sewel for my 2004. $3.83 ea

I did a keyword search on the light bulb PN with GX470 and got these pictures that link back to the OP, so I believe these are some of the pictures. HTH.
I will have to replace my drivers side bulb myself.
Good luck.

Just bought our family a GX470 2006 due to a third kid on the way. This is my 4th Lexus to the family. (2 is300s and a gs300). Picked up vehicle and most interior lights seem to be working but that one as well for the drivers side heater seat. The orange light comes on when in use but the green glow light not on. Interesting how many of these are out lol.
Possibly be easier to say what lights don't have a backing light? So i know the mirror adjustment does not glow, nor the dial for diming the lights, etc?
Does the suspension dial for soft/sport etc glow?
