Default 05 gx470 popping/crackling from speakers

This just started happening two weeks ago but it occurred 4 times already. When i first turn the car on sometimes the back speakers pop/crackle loudly and one time it occurred that the radio was not operational for about five minutes after the loud popping occurred. I have a full platinum lexus coverage on the vehicle but the issue is the dealership cannot replicate the problem with the car. On most of the post ive seen that the issue is most likely the amp. I was wondering if there is a way to replicate the issue at hand or am i going to have to records this and show it to the dealer.

What do you mean "not operational"? Was the radio uncontrollable on the panel or there was no sound? If it was just no sound, it was most likely the Amp problem. Make sure all the connections are sucure. If the problem is just imtermitent, it means there a component is going bad, but not yet dead. Since you have coverage, I guess you choice is either to show the dealer or to wait the Amp die. Good luck.

If the radio panel was unoperational when the problem happened, I guess the problem is on radio/tape module, rather than the Amp. Check the connection within the console.

Since you have platinium warranty, why fiddle around, go straight to the dealer and tell them the problem. they dont need a example, You could be specific when it does crackle ( either on Radio or CD mode). They can get to troubleshoot from there.Normally the door speakers if the crackle noise is there, you need to replace the Door trim panels around the speakers. There are some water sheild clips, which after sometime get disengaged and some dont. Your's seems to be I presume. The kit (P/N 08231--00810) called as NVH kit( Noise Vibration Hush Kit). If thecracklev sound countiunes, then the check would be be made on the Antennae which is equipped with a Noise Filter Kit. They would check the condition and if they are damaged or torn they replace it. If still the crackle sound continues then they would replace the speakers. I suggest you go to the dealer and get this done.
