Post Up Pictures of Your Aftermarket Wheel Set-Up
Since there appears to be more and more owner's converting to aftermarket/larger wheel/tire set-ups I thought it would be helpful to others to have the pictures cataloged in a single thread for everyone's reference. I know it would help me as I am considering replacing my original OEM wheels/tires.
So as to be helpful to others looking to do the same, please share the following details:
PS: This is not a thread intended for members to be critical of another member's set-up, but to be a resource. In other words, if you do not care how someone's wheel package looks please keep it to yourself.

Not mine, but this trail ready GX is inspirational nonetheless. More on this truck later...

Our gx's are not "rims" trucks. I could not decide on any one type of rim that would go with the look. The ones i decided on finally didnt look good once i put them on. I gave up eventually.

Agree for the most part, but there is a thread on here somewhere that showed a set of 22" Demoda Concertos (sp*) that looked great.

Theres a few GXs that have some nice looking wheels. There isnt alot of 6x5.5 wheels out there to choose from that look good. Before I bought my wheels I had a hard time finding a wheel that didnt have fake plastic rivets / bolts trying to look like a 2/3 piece wheel or it had some weird design in the lip.
And most wheels I found were either chrome or black not silver. Im not a fan of chrome wheels, plus its a crap shoot on how the chrome will hold up over time on aftermarket wheels (OEM too for that matter based on my OEM GX wheels), and black wheels to me are played out.
If I didnt go with the BFD wheels, I wouldve went with 18" BBS-RWs or 20" BBS-RD wheels. I had both on my Tundra and to me those are the nicest looking OEM wheels out there.

Was it the PVD chrome that is out there that supposedly doesn't peel or chip? I was looking into that being from Boston

On most aftermarket wheels you'll need to use acorn style lugs. Ask the manufacturer of your wheel though because with some aftermarket wheels you can use OEM lugs. I had to use acorn style lugs on the GX with my aftermarket wheels.
