Default New here :)

Hi everyone, after having our GX for 8 years, I finally decided to register with this forum in search of enthusiasts and information that is beneficial to our cars. The car isn't mine however, it's my dad's car and all I can say is that the GX470 is one of the most reliable luxury SUVs on the road. Had this baby new since 2004 and 76,000 miles later, no major problems at all! That is what you call reliable!

41 views and not one member has said welcome!!?? Let me be the first to appologize for such rude behavior!

Yeah 76K miles, that thing is still getting broken in. Im the second owner of my '05 GX and the odometer just turned over to 111,111 last week. No major problems either (knock on wood).

Don't worry about the apoology. Everyone is just probably busy at the moment. I'll try to put up pics of the car if I can get it washed today lol.

I was just messing around.

Yeah post up some pics. I wish it would stop raining here, I need to get a wash ASAP. Theres so many dang love bugs here, i never seen so many in my life. Luckily it's white so even when it's dirty it looks clean with the exception of the caked on lovebugs on the front bumper and mirrors.

Your GX interior/exterior color is exactly like mine! Not to mention the MY too.

I do get to drive fairly often. Only thing is that my dad doesn't like it when I floor it, but it's so hard not to do it because of the torque haha!

So far, I'm liking this forum. Reminds me of being on G35Driver when I used to have one. Hoping that the GX will go past 200k with ease.

Indeed, the GX does have a bit of torque. The 0-60 spec isn't great, but you know this car has some power when you step on the gas.

True. The power is great for a car that is fairly heavy and can haul five people with stuff in the trunk. We love how this car is excellent for road trips or the weekend getaway to Vegas as it is very comfortable.

Nice, exterior looks like just like mine when I bought it. Are your chrome wheels peeling?
