gx470 add an addional amp
I want to tap into my stereo to add an additional amp to power additional subwoofers. Looking for the best place to pull the signal from. I will be adding a high to low level adaptor to go to my amps low level input. I have searched for hours and have not found the info I need. Looks likes not to many audio enthusiats with gx470s. I'll be using my ads pq40 to power some RF 10" subs. Call me on my cell if your into audio 847-477-2012 or respond to my post.

I think you can get the signal from the OEM subwoofer. Of course you need to convert the signal from high to low level. I remember there is a thread about that. If you are good in messing up the head unit or Amp, PM me.

A link to a DIY on adding a amp and subwoofer is what I have been searching for. I would appreciate any help.

The head unit has a balanced analog output, this is the best place to source a line level signal to feed into an external amplifier. If your amp does not accept balanced sources you will need to convert it to unbalanced. If you search on this forum you will find t he pin out of the radio head unit and other posts detailing this option.
