UPDATE: On pitting rims

First off, the first set of rims that came with the truck which I purchased new and had to wait for it to ship in 06 were never waxed but hand washed with a special wash for rims. There was a long story and it's on here if you want to read about it that I was told by someone at a Lexus Dealership that the brake dust caused the pitting.
I believe it's a well documented problem and Lexus refuses to acknowledge it. When fighting with Lexus about the rims pitting I called it a defect and they didn't want to call it that so I said then call it a failure whatever you call it there is a problem. The rims were replaced and not refinished.
I was just updating since it's been about 3 yrs and this time we used a special wax on the rims that is made for aircrafts and once again the rims are pitting. Funny that this is happening on a Lexus.
What I would like to know is why is there a 7 yr corrosion warranty on the truck to cover paint yet the rims are painted wouldn't that fall in the 7 yr rule?
Well anyway we will see what happens. If it gets too bad I will replace the rims.
