I was just looking online and saw this ad, seemed really strange. Wondering how an 07 can look like this 6 years later

After looking at it, my guess is that since it is from Detroit some auto manufacture bought it and then disassembled it for study. Now they are trying to sell it. I know this is a common practice to see what and how the competition does things. I thought they usually destroyed them after that but maybe not.

 

Or maybe the owner just happened to stray into one of those "bad neighborhoods" in Detroit that we see on the news.
