I just installed a V1 in my 08 GX. Instead of buying an Invisicord, I used an old telephone cord, and found a good write up http://www.myg37.com/forums/audio-vi...-detector.html
that shows you step by step how to build your own. The mirror harness on my GX had only 2 wires which made it very easy to figure out which was hot and which was negative.
Telephone cord wires- Red positive- Green Negative
Mirror wires- (Looking at harness, plugged in to mirror) - Outside wire Positive- Inner wire Negative
You will want to verify this with a volt meter or test light if yours is different.

(Resurrecting a dead thread vs starting a new one.)
Can anyone confirm for me which of these is power vs. ground? I don't have a voltmeter (or frankly know how to use it). I'm sure I can buy one and figure it out, but if anyone can help me determine which is which it'll save me time and a few bucks as I got to install my invisicord.
