Did you choose the same year?
Ie. If you had a 2004 GX 470 did you cross over to a 2004 FJ?
I am also very curious about the Coil conversion. I've read that there are not may kits that work with out some fabrication work to hold the spring on the axle.
Cheers!

PS. I've read on here that there are definitely 4 ride height sensors on a 2004 GX but the garage I had it taken to swears there are only two (on the back). As I just got back and haven't really wanted to crawl under the thing in the snow and slush, I have no clue if the thread I read was right or the garage. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Update:
Dealer I bought the GX from (Not a Lexus Dealer) came through in a big way and put on two new rear shocks at their expense.
Can't say enough good about the sales guy I dealt with.

Glad you got squared away. To answer your previous question there are two sensors. Did the dealer really change the shocks or adjust the sensors? The OEM shocks are pretty pricey, so if they change them, that was a pretty good deal indeed. You were on the right track with this thread. Took me way too long to figure out the real issue, but mine bottomed out, because one of my sensor arms had come loose, lowering the rear. It didn't take long, before I pinched one of the bags, but even then I couldn't hear a leak. It would just bottom out sometimes and not others. I later found it was because the leak kept changing the pressure on the back end. It drove me crazy and I paid the dealer $65 to quote me 3k for repairs.
I finally found the leak and replaced the bags for $800 at an independent shop and its top notch again. Like others, I opted to keep things stock. It worked out quite nicely.

I just thought of one more thing that could make one side ride lower than the other. There's a distribution valve connecting the two bags that could be malfunctioning allowing more pressure to one side...

As for one side being higher than the other, that was the sensor that was just out of adjustment.
You are right, they are pricey but the Dealer said they would make it right and they did. Nice to see for a change!
Cheers!
