Android Stereo Install Question
I have come across an eBay listing for that same 10,4 inch tablet/ radio/ climate/ Android Auto deal. Has anyone else seen or contacted the seller? I have emailed them and have not gotten a reply as of yet. I am hoping that this thing is for real and works in the 04 GX with nav and Mark Levison package. Because i have installed a 12" Sub and am currently working on replacing all the speakers with as close to factory specs as possible. This Vehicle is probably the nicest thing I have ever owned in my 17 years of being a licensed driver. But any ideas of how to upgrade this whole area of the car would honestly be what makes this one of the absolute best SUVs that one could get for under 10k. Any thoughts?

There is a fella on Facebook GXOFFROAD that is working with Phoenix Audio trying to get one of the 10.4 Android stereos to work with a GX470 with Nav. From what I understand, so far, no audio. Everything else works, i,e. A/C controls. But as of right now, not working for people with Nav.

Given that this thread is multiple years old, I'm guessing this is a long shot, but does anybody have the pics that go with this thread? Seems to plague multiple threads and multiple model forums

I just purchased and installed the GROM unit. I considered the Phoenix tablet but the fact that the units are shipped from China, the reviews about lack of support and that I wanted to retain all of my factory stereo/nav functionality made me go with Grom.
So far so good.
So far so good.

I believe the GROM is the better choice if you already have an LCD/NAV.

Link below. The only thing I'm upset about right now is the Android unit does not take in the dual antenna so I have static now on FM stations
