Want to add a iphone hookup to my 06 GX, it has the navigation with the cd rom deal under the passenger seat and the 6 disk changer in the glove box. Most of the iphone integration units I have seen would disable my cd changer, as I understand it, these will not, correct?

Also, I was planning to do the navi mod so I can search it while moving while adding the iphone deal but it looks like these will take care of that also.

Is there anything I'm missing? Watching video through the screen from the iphone would be nice, will either unit do that? Any suggestions? Thanks

vaistech is a good unit and it doesn't affect your factory cd changer. it does not override the navigation though. they have a video unit but i am not 100% sure if it works on your car

I wonder if there is any sound issues or changes with these units as well. I use the USA-Spec and am not happy with how flat everything got from the much better but not even that great CD audio sound.

By he way I did some looking around and one of the plugs were not in all the way. Now that's fixed and the sound s MUCH better!

My friend has a Vias system laying around from the lexus LS he sold. He's gonna let me test it out cause it's fully digital rather than analog to digital like I think the USA Spec one is and I believe you keep your CD changer plugged in I dunno. Should sound better than the USA spec but we shall see.
