I am officially part of the GX family...after owning EX and RX, now wife gets her dream vehicle GX. We bought this 2007 GX10 days ago with 98450 miles on it. It is in excellent condition inside and out, the previous owner was nice enough to inform us that the truck has never been sent to the dealer for any scheduled maintenance, however they did all the needed maintenance at indy shop. I am about to send it for 90K + timing belt, water pump, drive belt, coolant, thermostat etc service to catch up on the recommended service. Here is the link to the truck...

Thank you! I am sure after we are done with the big service mentioned in the previous post, the truck should be good for a while. The truck still drives so smoothly even without those recommended services, a great testament to how solid these vehicles were engineered and built, just amazing! This truck only lacks KDSS and Lexus Link options, RSES is seat mounted with wireless headphones, The previous owners didn't have any issue with it, only replaced wear items. By the way is it necessary to flush the 'sealed' transmission fluid? I am thinking about buying the Toyota WS ATF from Amazon and ask an indy shop to do it.

Thank you! I have been busy catching up on the maintenance, The truck has a tad shy of 99K now. So far the following services have been done:

- Oil change, new air filter and cabin filter
- Replaced timing belt, water pump, drive belt, pulley and tensioners, thermostat, cam and crankshaft seals
- Coolant flushed and radiator upper and lower hoses replaced
- Brake fluid flushed
- Transmission fluid flushed
- Power steering fluid siphon & fill multiple times (DIY, thanks to the post on this forum, dealer wanted $90)

The only thing left is front & rear diff fluid and transfer case fluid. I am still debating on this since the truck has never been used for off-road or towing. Also there is a very minor leak in the rear shock (driver side), maybe replacing both rear shocks soon. Everything else is checked out ok by the Toyota dealer.

That's a pretty good list knocked off, you HAVE been busy! I would definitely change the diff and TC fluids as well, especially if it's never been done. There was a post I saw recently about a source for new OEM shocks for these things at pricing well below the dealers, I'll see if I can find it and post back.

Edit: found it, and I see so did you!

You guys are awesome! I understand the diff and TC fluids change is a fairly straight-forward drain and fill...will be using Mobil1 Synthetic Gear Lube 75W90, how many quarts do I need for all three fluid changes? Thanks again!

I THINK it's abot 1.5q/diff, but you should definitely double check before starting. Remember to loosen the fill plug before the drain plug, and get new crush washers for the plugs as well.

Do you know if there's a downloadable service manual floating around for these trucks? I've been looking but have come up empty handed so far.
