Default New 2005 owner, manifold leak question

Hello everyone, been on here for awhile doing some research before I purchased one for myself. I was originally looking to get a 4th gen 4runner but found a grey GX with KDSS that I couldnt pass up. Drove it 5 hours from where I bought it to home without a problem. One thing that I bought it with was the exhaust manifold leak. I've been reseaching on here and the internet and I was wondering if anyone has replaced the manifold themselves and can touch on the job? I know my way around a wrench, I do all my own maintenence. Thanks for any help in advance. Here is a pic of the Gx470 on the drive home and after I installed the rear wing.

I had an exhaust tick a couple of years ago and had the manifold and catalytic converter replaced under warranty from Lexus. I now have another slight ticking on acceleration. I believe the catalytic and manifold may be one piece as the paperwork listed it as catalytic/ exhaust manifold. I know the part was very pricey. You may also be able to repair/weld if its just a gasket leak. Let us know how you make out and good luck with your GX, they are nice trucks.

Any update on this?

I have a leak on both and will need to replace or repair in the near future.

Cheers!
