Yesterday I saw a 2003 GX470 with 266,000 miles! yes, two hundred and sixty six thousand miles!

The black paint was perfect everywhere, and the black leather interior was perfect except for the endemic cracked dash.

I did not drive it, but it seemed to be driving perfectly! it looked just like every other GX you see on the streets with no obvious signs of higher than usual usage.

I was pretty amazed at how flawless this car was and assured me of the superior quality of Lexus cars. My GX has "only" 126,000 miles. Less than half of that other GX I saw.

What is the highest milage GX that you have seen?

Do you happen to own an exceptionally high milage GX? if so, what can you say about the durability of the car overall?

I work at a Lexus dealer...

Highest GX ive seen was an 04 with 311k. Met the guy as he was picking it up later that day.... We talked about our fascination with the GX470 and he said that he would not sell it until the motor dies.

My wife 98 Toyota Land Cruiser currently have 382K miles with original engine and transmission. I know it not the GX but same motor basically.
