A/C slow to cool down
I love my 2005 GX 470, but the A/C takes a few minutes of driving to get cold. It eventually performs like it should, but it shouldn't take 5+ minutes for the output to be cold I wouldn't think.
IS THIS NORMAL for this vehicle or is there an issue? what is YOUR experience? My MDX will freeze you out after about 20 seconds of operation :-)
Of course, I can take it to the shop, but I'm wondering if anyone knows of any tSB's or 'usual issues'?
thx in advance!

Just to make sure, I'd buy an ac vent thermometer ($5 or less) and observe ac temps under a variety of situations, and go from there. I'd also check the glass window on the hi pressure side thingy (I forget what is called) and check for bubbles at 3000 rpm. Good luck.

2) have you replaced your cabin air filter recently? easy to do, and it frees up airflow (and expedites cooling) if the current one is dirty/plugged.
