My GX and Wifes RX
So I drive a 06 GX and love it. My wife drives a 08 RX and enjoys it - aside from noticing that she is about a generation younger than most other RX drivers.
I have offered to switch as she previously drove a Sequoia and loved the size and height and feeling of safety (and to her credit never backed into anything).
Every time I have offered to switch she says she will think about it but hasn't pulled the trigger.
Ethical question - have I done my due diligence on asking or should I continue on a less frequent basis and ask her. (Trying to be a good husband here)
Thanks

Wow! Didn't realize there was a minimum age requirement for driving the RX or GX for that matter. That's probably a question best answered by you. The RX was designed more with women in mind. A convenient location for a purse, height of entry for skirts, size of controls, etc, to accommodate longer nails....it may be why she's been somewhat non committal. If it were my wife, I'd stop asking, because she'd see that as me trying to force a decision. Good luck.

There is no age limit on Lexus vehicles. Its more the about affordability and luxury taste. Think about it. A young adult with limited funds is going to: A.) Want a "cool" car to drive around and impress with. B.) Something in his price range, with cheap repairs. Hello Toyota, or Domestic.
As people age, they become more understanding of the terms "Luxury" "Reliability" "Comfort" "Quality" etc.
Depending on you and your wife's taste, and wealth you are, i'd say, very fortunate to enter this prestigious level of luxury at a "younger than normal" age.

We got our 07GX in mind to be my wife's prime car. But it turned to be mine prime now..
She was trying hard to drive GX and gave up on that. She is happy with RAV4 2010 and not going to switch it at all. I explained her a couple of times safety and convenience driving GX, but did not convince her. So i left it as is for now do not like to force her - it does not work
