I don't need a dash light to tell me when my tires need air, I'm more than capable of staying on top of that kind of thing on my own, the way I always have. I can understand how it might be useful to some of the "drones" that just get in and go, and take their car to the quicki-lube for service.

I find it useful and I change my own oil as well as do other maintenance too.

It's saved me several times when I had slow leaks. Without it in place I wouldn't have noticed the leak until the following morning at which time it would have been too low to drive and I would've had to waste the better part of the morning waiting for a tow truck.

To each their own but I find the system very useful.

Me too post... My left front lost about 7lbs and I couldnt tell by looking at it, the light came on, took filled it 32 and all is well.

Also it's a big help w/ regards to your spare tire. How many here check your spare tire pressure on a regular basis? Not many I bet since you have to lower it to get a good fit w/ a tire pressure gauge.
