Default wire harness support clips

So this one will really test the knowledge base on this forum. And before asking, I did do an internet search and a forum search.
The rear shocks, wiring harness, the connector, is held in the chasis/frame with a slide on clip that the shock absorber wire harness slips into. I guess i broke it the other day when i was changing the shocks. I have it secured with a pull tie but i have been searching the parts diagrams and I cannot find the part...probably only a 5 dollar part.

Maybe you could post a picture? I would imagine that you could find the part on Sewell website?

I tired looking but I can't find it. I can't even find electrical connectors on Sewell. I tried searching for "clips" and "clamps" but there's too many generic clips and clamps. You would think they would have a sub-section under body that lists all of the clips like they do for hole plugs: http://lexus.sewellparts.com/oem-cat...X470-2005.html

I'd call up Sewell or you local dealer and ask them. I doubt anyone here has ever replaced the plug clip let alone seen it. Maybe ask some guys on the other forums that have done the rear spring swap if they have their clips.

This probably won't help but here's a PDF w/ the electrical connectors. Page 17 has the names and part numbers of the clips. I tried looking for anything related to shock / strut but didn't have any luck. Maybe they list it under something else? See if you can match the connector up.

Good luck!

if you look inside the back wheel well, at the wire that comes off the shock, the connector hangs on another hook that plugs in the frame...so simple yet impossible to track down...sewell was the first place i looked...tried clips and fasteners.com....my black pull ties works...just looking for perfection...very stressful. LOL

i checked out all those connectors..whew......but this is not a connector, it is a support for the connector to hang on. maybe a trip to a dealer, with some luck i can find a parts manager that really knows his stuff...or happened to sell the same part just yesterday.

I know. I was thinking maybe you can find the connector, get the part number to give Lexus to go by then they can find the clip that goes w/ it.

Yeah I think the dealership will be your best bet...even then I bet they won't be able to find it in their catalog.
