Default GX vs 4Runner

Has anyone driven both the new GX and 4Runner. Is the ride the same or is does the Lexus have a better ride. I currently have an RX coming off lease in August and am considering moving up to the GX.

Default One big difference

One thing to consider is that the 4R does not offer the 3rd row seat. Some others are the, Toyota level of service (which is not bad), but you'll get spoiled with the Lex. Lexus Link, and I think the interior of the GX is a bit more plush. I also don't know if the 4R has the adj ride control, air suspension.

Default 4 runner

The four runner offers the ride height adjust and the downhill and uphill assist in the v8 model. The seating position is much different

My 4Runner fully loaded came out to 42,755 sticker and the dealership is Prestige Toyota linked with Prestige Lexus

Reason I did not buy a GX the rear door swings out, their is a shift **** for the 4Wheel, no X-Reas, did not care for the dash lay out, did not want 3rd row, no need for DVD entertainment, the 4Runner fits me better Im pretty young compared to the people buying these trucks, and the extra 15,000 left over in my bank account

All comes down to preference and the extra doe you could always get a V6 in the 4Runner but it does not pack the punch like the V8

The 4Runner with x-Reas corners really well

The ride in my 4Runner isn't harsh at all, and I have the X-Reas. The Limited model, which doesn't necessarily have X-Reas is even smoother. I think it's very smooth, but I have yet to drive the GX. I am also considerably younger than an average GX buyer, so I felt that the 4Runner fit me better =) I know GX's are going for practically full sticker, whereas I was able to work my 4Runner down to invoice. just another selling point for me.

you gonna paint your fender flares and bumpers, it looks pretty good now that I got use to it, just needed that whole adjustment period

When the SC become available Im gonna put it on and every other TRD option, make mine a TRD Limited V8

Default Flares

A lot of people didn't like the flares, but I love the way it looks in the Titanium. I think it, along with my non-fuctional hood scoop give it a very aggressive look. Definitely a younger look. As I get older, maybe my tastes will change, and then I'll get the painted panels. But I might as well just get the GX then!

The posted pics are of the Sport Edition right? I do like the way the V8 4-Runners sound and pick up speed. They drive pretty good, I was fairly impressed.
