Interior / Dome Light Problem...HELP HELP HELP
So i have decided to order some LED interior lights for my 2004 GX 470, but after taking off the clear lens cover for the driver door and tried to remove the bulb which was so diffcuilt, that i had gave up, so next is the interior left map/dome light, removed the cover and found out they shipped the wrong bulb for that part, damn...
NOW: the problem is all light DOES NOT GO ON
Even if its opening of a door or switching the light on/off for all lights...
WHAT happened??

Sounds like you shorted something out and you blew a fuse.

I agree. Check your fuses. I also have a 2004 gx470. When I took off the lens cover in the door as I remember I think I used a pair of pliers and put tape around the jaws of the pliers so I could grip the bulb with out breaking it. They are wedge style bulbs and will come out with a little bit of coaxing.

Thanks for all reply, now based on this situation, does that I mean it can be easily fixed with changing a piece of fuse?
And yes i will use pilers next time with hockey tape...

Yes. Look in your manual and or check the back of the fuse cover and see what fuse controls the interior lights. Once you find it, replace it and you should be good to go.

Correct me if i am wrong i believe the fuse is in the little compartment INSIDE of the car on the left panel near the step handbrake right? I pulled it out that has diagrams but not one says dome light or interior light...
Do you guys know which one it is?
