Is there a way to easily add some device that will allow an ipod to play on a navi equipped GX? I'm not looking for something fancy that allows you to change songs via the interface or wheel buttons, just something simple. For instance, in my merc there is a 3.5mm jack I can plug into and play songs.

TIA

I ended up going with the USA-SPEC PA-15 Toy. I have the same unit for my Pilot and have been using it for the last two years without any issues whatsoever. Plus, I believe it's cheaper than the VAIS (I paid less than $120).

I went with grom, had the steering controls and works flawlessly.

I can control songs etc through the navi or my iPhone.

If you have factory CD changer, go with the Vais, not Grom as I believe Grom gives up the CD Changer while Vais supports MD emulation as well.

True, but I dont miss cd changer as my USB folder labelled 1-6 replicates CD changer and the controls are all native on the NAV screen 1- 6. and WITH the TITLES showing on NAV screen, I have 99 songs in each folder (CD), so the total of 6 folder or CD its almost 600 songs.

I have looked at Vais, RF modulator, Parrot, and went with grom added BT.
