Question Does anyone have an Odyssey Battery in their GX?

I am considering getting an Odessey battery for the GX. There has been more than one occassion where the GX has sat for a period (esp when it's cold out) and not had enough juice to turn the starter over. In fact it happened again this morning.

Is anyone running one of these batteries? How has it performed?

I believe a forum member works for the company and will chime in once he reads this post

What qualifies Interstate as being the "best" or better than an Odessey? By most accounts (that I have researched) Odessey batteries are rated at or near the top of the heap in terms of quality performance batteries.

FYI... The Sears Diehard Platinum is a rebadged Odyssey.

Email from company...

David:

That is a very astute observation. We private label the Sears DieHard
Platinum batteries and they are rebadged Odyssey batteries.

Thanks.

Hello,

I recently discovered the Sears DieHard Platinum line of batteries and I
noticed they look identical to the Odyssey line. Is there a difference
between the two?

Thanks for your time.

I assume you are referring to the Sears group 34 "Marine" battery? Aside from 4 terminals, they look to be the same and the specs are the same.

Got it installed this morning and it fits great. First impression on start-up, the starter turns SOooo much quicker, the engine just fires up almost instantaneously. So far so good, now let's see how long it lasts or if it ever discharges enough to not turn the starter. Fingers crossed....
